Instructions to Resolve Desktop Wallpaper and Color Scheme Changes

Users of Project CARS 3 have encountered a bug that alters their Windows desktop wallpaper and color scheme upon game startup. To resolve this issue, it is recommended to save the wallpaper as a Theme. This workaround effectively prevents the bug from triggering.

To save the wallpaper as a theme, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the desktop wallpaper.
2. Select “Set as desktop background”.
3. Click on “Save theme”.
4. Enter a name for the theme.
5. Click on “Save”.

Once the wallpaper has been saved as a theme, it will be used instead of the default wallpaper when Project CARS 3 is launched. This should prevent the desktop wallpaper and color scheme from changing.
