Hold Packages Before Shipping

If your item has not shipped or you didn't schedule delivery during checkout, you might be able to hold your package. Visit the Amazon Customer Service site to find answers to common problems, use online chat, or call customer service.

Hold Packages After Shipping

While Amazon doesn't allow you to hold or redirect packages once they're shipped, there is one exception. You can request a vacation hold for up to 90 days. However, this is only available to Prime members.

Mail and packages won't be held for more than 30 days unless requested by the sender, and Amazon mail delivered by them can't be held on vacation hold.
