Adding an animated GIF to a PowerPoint slide is a great way to add some visual interest and engagement to your presentation. You can use GIFs to illustrate a point, add humor, or simply break up the monotony of a slide deck.
Inserting an Animated GIF
To insert an animated GIF into a PowerPoint slide, simply follow these steps:
- Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to add the GIF to.
- Click on the slide you want to add the GIF to.
- Click on the “Insert” tab.
- Click on the “Pictures” button.
- Navigate to the location of the GIF file on your computer.
- Select the GIF file and click on the “Insert” button.
The GIF will be inserted into the slide. You can then resize and position the GIF as desired.
Saving a Presentation as an Animated GIF
You can also save a PowerPoint presentation as an animated GIF. This can be a great way to share your presentation on social media or via email.
- Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to save as a GIF.
- Click on the “File” tab.
- Click on the “Save As” option.
- In the “Save As” dialog box, select the “GIF” file format.
- Click on the “Save” button.
