79 Patients Tested After 3 Confirmed Cases of Hepatitis A

Cylex Website Says Business Has Closed

Nabor SK Beauty Supply in Snellville, Georgia, has been closed for investigation after three confirmed cases of Hepatitis A were linked to the store. According to the Cylex website, the business has closed.

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is urging anyone who visited the store between April 1 and May 1 to get tested for Hepatitis A. So far, 79 people have been tested, and three have been confirmed to have the virus.

Hepatitis A is a liver infection that can cause symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, and joint pain. In severe cases, Hepatitis A can lead to liver failure and death.

The DPH is working to identify the source of the outbreak and is taking steps to prevent further spread of the virus. Anyone who has visited the store during the specified time period should get tested for Hepatitis A, even if they are not experiencing any symptoms.
