Jax Taylor Enters In-Patient Facility for Mental Health Treatment

Treatment for Mental Health

Former “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor has entered an in-patient facility for mental health treatment, according to a representative for the reality star. The news comes a day after ET confirmed that Taylor was seeking treatment. “Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles,” the representative told ET. “He has been open about his struggles with depression and anxiety, and he has been working to address those issues through therapy and medication. He recently made the decision to enter an in-patient facility to get the help he needs. He is committed to his recovery and is grateful for the support of his family and friends during this time,” the representative added.

Working on Himself

Taylor's decision to seek help comes as he and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, are expecting their first child. “He wants to be the best father he can,” the representative said. “He is looking forward to getting the help he needs and getting back to his family soon.” Taylor has been open about his mental health journey in the past. In 2020, he shared that he was struggling with depression and anxiety. “I just didn't feel like myself,” Taylor said at the time. “I was just very down and out, and I just wasn't happy. I wasn't enjoying life.” Taylor has been praised for his openness about mental health. “It's really important for people to be open about their mental health struggles,” the representative said. “It's not a sign of weakness. It's a sign of strength.”
