Jenna Bush Hager Announces Twin Sister Barbara Bush Welcomes Second Child

A second grandchild for former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush

Today with Hoda and Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager announced on Monday, August 15, 2023, that her fraternal twin sister, Barbara Bush, has given birth to her second child, a baby boy named Edward Finn.

Barbara Bush and her husband, Craig Coyne, welcomed their second child in September 2021, a daughter named Cora Georgia. Bush Hager shared the news of her sister's pregnancy in April 2023, posting a photo of herself and Barbara cradling their baby bumps on Instagram.

Edward Finn is the second grandchild for former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. Their eldest daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, has three children with her husband, Henry Hager: Margaret “Mila” Laura, Poppy Louise, and Henry “Hal” Harold.

In a statement released to TODAY, Barbara Bush and Coyne said they are “thrilled to welcome Edward Finn into our family. He is a healthy and happy baby boy, and we are so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends.” Bush Hager also expressed her joy on the TODAY show, saying, “I'm so excited to be an aunt again and to watch my niece and nephew grow up together.”
