Stree 2 Receives UA Rating from CBFC

Horror Flick Gears Up for Theatrical Release

Stree 2, the highly anticipated horror-comedy film starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has received a UA rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), clearing the path for its theatrical release.

The CBFC granted the film a UA certificate on Thursday, August 8, 2024, allowing it to be viewed by all audiences with parental guidance for children under the age of 12. The film's producer, Maddock Films, has welcomed the certification and expressed excitement about the upcoming release.

Stree 2 is a sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy film Stree, which was a critical and commercial success. The new film promises to deliver the same blend of thrills and humor as its predecessor, with Rao and Kapoor reprising their roles as the leads.

The film is set to release in theaters on August 15, 2024, and will face competition from other major releases, including Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein, Ulajh Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Stree 2, Singham Again, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
