On the August 9th episode of WWE SmackDown, a vignette aired during Friday's SmackDown. The vignette featured Vinci in a variety of settings, including a fine dining restaurant, a museum, and a library. In each setting, Vinci was shown as a man of taste and refinement.

The vignette ended with Vinci standing in front of a painting of himself. He then smiled and said, “I am Giovanni Vinci, and I am here to stay.” It is unclear what this means for Vinci's future in WWE, but it is clear that he is being positioned as a major player on the SmackDown brand.
