Now, She Says Their Relationship Is 'Better Than Ever'

Grammy-nominated singer Elle King is opening up about her relationship with her father, actor Rob Schneider. In an appearance on Bunnie Xos podcast, King, 34, said she has a “complicated” past with her father, but their relationship is now “better than ever.”

King is the only daughter of Schneider and former model London King, who were married from 1988 to 1990. King said she didn't see much of her father growing up, and they had a strained relationship for many years.

“I think it's been a journey for us,” King said. “I think we've both had to learn how to communicate with each other. I think we've both had to learn how to forgive each other.”

King said she's grateful for the relationship she has with her father now. “I'm so happy that we've been able to work through our stuff,” she said. “I'm so happy that we're in a place where we can actually talk to each other and have a relationship.”
