Rocker Reveals Struggle with Grief and Health Issues

August 9, 2024 – Janes Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has made a triumphant return to the band after a two-year absence due to Long Covid.

Navarro, who has been suffering from the lingering effects of COVID-19, was forced to stop playing guitar after his battle with the virus was compounded by the grief of losing his close friend and bandmate Taylor Hawkins. However, despite his ongoing health challenges, Navarro has now rejoined Janes Addiction and will be performing with the band at their upcoming shows.

In a recent interview, Navarro opened up about the difficulties he faced during his time away from music. “It was a really dark time for me,” he said. “I lost my best friend, I couldn't play guitar, and I was just feeling really lost.”
