Schulman Thanks Universe and Doctors for Saving His Life

Schulman Is Lucky to Be Alive After Freak Accident

Catfish host Nēv Schulman is thanking the universe and his doctors after he broke his neck in an accident last Saturday. Schulman, 39, shared on Instagram that he was riding his motorbike when he hit a pothole and was thrown from the bike. He landed on his head and neck, and initially thought he was paralyzed.

“I'm so lucky to be alive,” Schulman wrote. “I broke my neck in two places, but thankfully the nerves weren't damaged. I'm in a neck brace for the next few weeks, but I'm already feeling much better.”

Schulman thanked the doctors and nurses who treated him, as well as his friends and family for their support. He also thanked his fans for their well wishes.

“I'm so grateful for all the love and support I've received,” Schulman wrote. “I'm going to take some time to heal, but I'll be back soon.”

Schulman's accident comes just weeks after he announced that he and his wife, Laura Perlongo, are expecting their second child. The couple has a 2-year-old daughter, Cleo.
