Council Rock Newtown, a team representing the Mid-Atlantic region at the Little League World Series (LLWS) in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, finished with a 2-2 record amidst challenging circumstances.
After suffering a 9-0 shutout in their opening game against Boerne, Texas, Council Rock Newtown bounced back with a pair of dominant victories.
In their second game, they defeated South Sioux City, Nebraska, 6-0, and followed that up with an 11-2 triumph over Great Lakes Region champions, Hamtramck, Michigan.

However, their journey came to an end with a frustrating 11-1 loss to eventual champions, Nolensville, Tennessee.
