Greg Joseph: South African-American Kicker in the NFL

Early Life and Career

Greg Joseph was born on August 4, 1994, in Cape Town, South Africa. He attended the University of Florida, where he played for the Gators football team. As a senior, he was named a first-team All-SEC selection.

Professional Career

Joseph signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He was waived by the Buccaneers during training camp but was later signed to the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in December 2018.

Joseph made his NFL debut in 2019 and went on to play for the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Minnesota Vikings before joining the Green Bay Packers in 2022.

Accomplishments

  • Scored 361 points over the last three seasons (2021-23), ranking 10th in the NFL.
