Joao Cancelo Leaves Manchester City for Al Hilal

Manchester City have confirmed the permanent departure of Joao Cancelo to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.

The Portuguese international joined City from Juventus in 2019 and has since enjoyed a successful spell in England.

Cancelo spent the second half of last season on loan at Bayern Munich and made a brief return to City in the summer.

However, he has now found a new home in Saudi Arabia, signing a long-term deal with Al Hilal.

The transfer fee is reported to be in the region of €32 million, with City recouping most of the €65 million they paid for Cancelo in 2019.
