A recent Listeria outbreak linked to contaminated deli meats has claimed the life of a Florida resident and sickened several others.

The outbreak has been traced to products sliced at deli counters, including Boars Head brand liverwurst.

Symptoms of Listeria

In severe cases, Listeria can cause meningitis, bloodstream infections, and even death.

  • Avoid consuming deli meats, especially liverwurst.
  • If you have purchased Boars Head liverwurst, discard it immediately.
