Week 0 ACC Football Players of the Week

Offense:

TaQuon Marshall, QB, Georgia Tech Marshall led the Yellow Jackets to a 33-7 win over FCS opponent Alcorn State as he looked sharp with his new offense. Completing 13-of-17 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns, Marshall also added 89 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Defense:

Manny Lawson, LB, North Carolina Lawson helped propel the Tar Heels to a 24-17 win over South Carolina with his second-half fumble recovery for a touchdown. Lawson forced the fumble and then recovered it and returned it 90 yards for a score. He also led the team with six tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss.

Special Teams:

Alex Kessman, PK, Virginia Tech Kessman was a perfect 2-for-2 on field goals, including a 45-yarder, and 2-for-2 on extra points in the Hokies' 24-3 win over Boston College.
