Tatum knocks off Daingerfield 34-14 on Thursday night

Tatum Eagles soar to victory on Thursday night

The Tatum Eagles soared to a 34-14 victory over the Daingerfield Tigers on Thursday night. The Eagles were led by a strong running game and a stingy defense.

Tatum running back Chris Smith rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and quarterback T.J. Odom added 125 yards and one touchdown on the ground. The Eagles also scored on a 55-yard touchdown pass from Odom to wide receiver Jaylon Dickson.

The Tatum defense was equally impressive, holding the Tigers to just 14 points. The Eagles forced four turnovers, including three fumbles and an interception.

Eagles improve to 2-1 on the season

With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-1 on the season. They will host the White Oak Roughnecks next Friday night.

The Daingerfield Tigers fall to 1-2 on the season. They will host the Pittsburg Pirates next Friday night.
