The Connecticut Sun beat the Phoenix Mercury 88-69 on Saturday night behind a 20-point performance from Brionna Jones. Marina Mabrey added 19 points for the Sun, while DeWanna Bonner chipped in with 17.

The Sun took control of the game early, jumping out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter. They never looked back as the lead 40-29 at halftime and continued to increase their lead in the second half.

The Mercury were led by Diamond DeShields, who had 19 points. Brittney Griner added 16 points and 10 rebounds for her 13th double-double of the season.
