'Happy Gilmore' Sequel Cast: Adam Sandler, Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, More Confirmed

The long-awaited 'Happy Gilmore' sequel, the beloved 1996 sports comedy, is finally getting made.

The sequel will see Adam Sandler reprise his role as the titular Happy Gilmore, a former hockey player who turns to golf to save his grandmother's house.

Joining Sandler in the cast are a number of big names, including Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, Julie Bowen, and Will Forte. Bad Bunny will play the role of Gilmore's rival, a rising golf star, while Kelce will play his caddy.

The film is set to be directed by Dennis Dugan, who also directed the original film. The script is being written by Tim Herlihy, who also wrote the original film.

The sequel has been in development for several years, and it's finally set to start filming this summer.

The film is expected to be released in 2024.
