Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella are committed to co-parenting their son, Matteo, and working together amicably, according to Chigvintsev's lawyer. Contrary to recent rumors, Chigvintsev has not filed for divorce from Bella.

The couple is focused on their son and their work.

Chigvintsev's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, released a statement to ET on Wednesday, saying, “Artem and Nikki have been working on their relationship for some time. They are both fully committed to their son and their family and plan on continuing to raise Matteo together.”

Brettler added that Chigvintsev is “saddened by the speculation and false reporting” about his relationship with Bella.

The couple has been open about their relationship struggles.

Bella and Chigvintsev have been open about the challenges in their relationship in recent months. In January, Bella spoke about how they were working through some “really hard times” and that they were “trying to navigate” their relationship.

However, they have also shown that they are committed to their family. In February, Bella posted a photo of her and Chigvintsev on Instagram, writing, “We may not always agree, but we will always be a team. No matter what.”
