Toronto signs three undrafted free agents

The Toronto Raptors have signed three undrafted free agents: Immanuel Quickley, Darius Days, and Freddie Gillespie.

Quickley is a 6'3″ point guard out of Kentucky. He was a four-star recruit and was named the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2019. Quickley averaged 16.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in his sophomore season.

Days is a 6'7″ forward out of LSU. He was a four-star recruit and was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team in 2020. Days averaged 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in his sophomore season.

Gillespie is a 6'9″ center out of Baylor. He was a three-star recruit and was named to the All-Big 12 Defensive Team in 2021. Gillespie averaged 8.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in his senior season.

Raptors waive four players

The Toronto Raptors have waived four players: DeAndre' Bembry, Jalen Harris, David Johnson, and Juwan Morgan.

Bembry is a 6'5″ forward out of Saint Joseph's. He was the 21st overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Bembry averaged 5.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in his five NBA seasons.

Harris is a 6'4″ guard out of Nevada. He was the 59th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Harris averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in his rookie season.

Johnson is a 6'7″ forward out of Louisville. He was the 30th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets. Johnson averaged 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in his six NBA seasons.

Morgan is a 6'8″ forward out of Indiana. He was the 36th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. Morgan averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in his two NBA seasons.

Raptors sign Juwan Morgan to a two-way contract

The Toronto Raptors have signed Juwan Morgan to a two-way contract.

Morgan is a 6'8″ forward out of Indiana. He was the 36th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. Morgan averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in his two NBA seasons.

A two-way contract is a type of NBA contract that allows a player to spend up to 45 days with their NBA team and the rest of the season with their NBA G League affiliate.
