YEREVAN, October 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his opinion on how to call Armenian cognac during a government meeting on Thursday. Pashinyan noted that there are many names for Armenian cognac abroad, and it is necessary to choose one. “Our brandy is called differently abroad – “Armenian cognac”, “brandy from Armenia”. There are issues related to the export of our cognac to the Russian Federation. We hope to solve them, but there is another issue – how should we call our brandy?”, – said Pashinyan. According to him, the government should discuss this issue and come to a decision. “This is not serious when our cognac is called “Armenian cognac” or “brandy from Armenia”. We need to come to some kind of consensus,” Pashinyan said.
