Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that Nwankwo Kanu, another forward who wore the No. 25 for the Gunners, was his idol growing up.
Adebayor, who played for Arsenal from 2006 to 2009, said in an interview with Kanu's YouTube channel that he “always wanted to be like him.” in the team. He describes the Nigerian striker as a “legend,” and says that he was always a fan of his playing style.

Kanu, who played for Arsenal from 1999 to 2004, won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League with the club. He was known for his skill, creativity, and goalscoring ability.
