RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al-Nassr beat league leaders Al-Ittihad 3-1 to move within three points of the summit of the Saudi Pro League on Thursday.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 31st minute from the penalty spot after he was brought down by Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe.

Al-Ittihad equalized nine minutes later through Abderrazak Hamdallah, but Ronaldo restored Al-Nassr’s lead just before halftime.
