Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. is out for the rest of the game due to a left plantar fascia strain.

The Magic announced the injury on Twitter late in the first quarter of their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. Carter has been dealing with the injury for the past few weeks and has missed the Magic's last two games. He is averaging 15.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season.

The Magic are already without several key players, including Markelle Fultz (toe), Jalen Suggs (ankle), and Jonathan Isaac (knee).

Carter's absence will be a big blow to the Magic, who are currently 13-23 and in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. The Magic will next play on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers.
