In the inaugural women's basketball game played in Paris, France, the No. 25 University of Southern California (USC) Trojans defeated the Ole Miss Rebels, 83-74. USC's JuJu Watkins led all scorers with a career-high 27 points, including 5-of-11 from three-point range.

USC jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Trojans led by as many as 15 points in the first half and took a 44-31 advantage into the break.

Ole Miss made a run in the second half, cutting USC's lead to just four points with less than seven minutes remaining. However, Watkins hit a clutch three-pointer to put the Trojans back up by seven and they held on for the win.
