Carrie Underwood To Return To American Idol

The Singer Fell While Leaving The Concert Stage

Carrie Underwood fans were left in tears after the singer fell while leaving the concert stage. The incident happened on Sunday night, August 2, 2024, at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Underwood was performing her headliner set when she fell off the stage. She was quickly helped up by her team and appeared to be okay.

Underwood later took to social media to address the incident. She said that she was “a little bruised and battered, but I'm okay.” She also thanked her fans for their support.

The fall did not seem to affect Underwood's performance. She continued to sing and dance for the rest of the night. She even performed an encore of her hit song “Before He Cheats.”

Underwood is set to return to American Idol as a judge for the upcoming season. She will be joined by Luke Bryan and Katy Perry.
