Bregman Suffers Elbow Injury from Sleeping on Arm
Houston Astros star third baseman Alex Bregman will miss at least one game due to an elbow issue that arose from sleeping wrong, manager Dusty Baker announced Friday.
Bregman, 28, is batting .281 with 21 home runs and 70 RBIs this season. He is a three-time All-Star and won the Silver Slugger Award in 2018.
Baker said Bregman is day-to-day and the team will re-evaluate his status after the weekend.
The Astros are scheduled to play a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics this weekend in Houston.
