Yet Another Heartbreaker for the Warriors Football Team

The Warriors football team came up just short in a hard fought defensive battle against the Warriors on Saturday, losing 24-21. The Warriors held a 21-17 lead at halftime, but the Warriors came out firing in the second half. The Warriors scored a touchdown on their first drive and followed it up with a field goal to make the score 27-21.

Warriors drove down the field late in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to score, ending a four-game winning streak. The Warriors had a chance to tie the game in the final minute, but the Warriors blocked the field goal attempt.

The Warriors were led by quarterback Parker, who threw for 234 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Receiver Jones was the Warriors' leading receiver with 85 yards and one touchdown. Running back Smith had 78 yards and a touchdown. The Warriors had 321 yards of total offense.

The loss drops the Warriors record to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The Warriors will be back in action next Saturday when they travel to take on the Golden Bears.
