Pelicans' Herbert Jones: Heads to locker room
Pelicans' Jones leaves Monday's game against the Warriors with right knee soreness
New Orleans forward Herbert Jones exited Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors with right knee soreness and did not return.
Jones, who is averaging 10.0 points and 3.7 rebounds this season, left the game with 8:30 remaining in the first half after colliding with Warriors guard Klay Thompson while driving to the basket. He went to the locker room immediately and did not return.
The Pelicans announced that Jones' status for the rest of the game was questionable, but he was later ruled out.
This is a developing story and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
