TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board reconstituted
Naidu, who is a close confidant of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, is the founder of TV5, a Telugu news channel.
Former TV5 founder B R Naidu has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board. The appointment was made by the Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday.
Naidu is a close confidant of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He is also a former Member of Parliament (MP) from Srikakulam.
The TTD is a trust that manages the affairs of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in the world. The temple is located in the hill town of Tirumala in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
