Midfielder has recovered from injury and is available for selection

Rostov midfielder Daniil Golenkov has returned to the team's training group and is available for selection ahead of Saturday's Russian Premier League clash with Dynamo Moscow, the club has confirmed.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined since September with a thigh injury but has now made a full recovery and is in contention to feature at the Rostov Arena this weekend.

Golenkov's return a boost for Rostov

Golenkov's return is a major boost for Rostov, who are currently 10th in the Russian Premier League table.

The midfielder has been a key player for the club since joining from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2020, and his return will provide coach Valeri Karpin with some much-needed depth in the middle of the park.

Rostov will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Dynamo after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Spartak Moscow in their last outing.

Karpin's side have won just one of their last five league games and will be keen to put a run of positive results together before the winter break.
