Disney+ Takes Viewers on a Journey Around the World for Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day with Disney's Global Adventure

New Feature Film and Earth Day Events Unveiled

Orlando, FL – March 31, 2023 – In honor of Earth Day, Disney+ is inviting viewers to embark on a cinematic journey around the world with the premiere of “Into the Deep,” a new feature film that showcases the planet's diverse ecosystems and the importance of conservation. From the rainforests of Guyana to the icy landscapes of Antarctica, this documentary captures the beauty and fragility of our home.

In addition to the film, Disney is hosting a series of Earth Day events at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. Visitors can participate in interactive exhibits, meet animal experts, and learn about conservation efforts. The park will also feature live entertainment and educational activities throughout Earth Day weekend.

“Earth Day is a time to reflect on the importance of protecting our planet,” said Mark Penning, president of The Walt Disney Company Global Wildlife Conservation Fund. “Through 'Into the Deep' and our Earth Day events, we hope to inspire viewers and guests to make a difference in their own communities.”
